American Hellenic Educational Progressive Association (AHEPA) in Canada. Founded in the United States in 1922, AHEPA opened its first Canadian chapter in 1928. The organization was created to help Hellenic immigrants adjust to life in North America, and has grown to become the largest Greek-American organization in the world.
