The century-old Grand Theatre was built by entrepreneur Ambrose Small to replace London's old Grand Opera House. A galaxy of stars has trod the boards at the Grand, which enjoyed a tenure as movie house and amateur theatre before returning to its professional roots.
A $5.5 million renovation, completed in 1978, confirmed its place as one of Canada's most elegant playhouses.
