NOTE: this is for an annual renewal of an existing P.O. box rental only.

For new rentals, please speak to a Postal Clerk at Toronto's First Post Office or reach out to us via email -  info@tos1stpo.com

If the renewal date has already passed, please contact Toronto's First Post Office directly to renew your post office box.

By renewing online, you agree to the following:
"I, the Primary Boxholder — and representing all users of this post office box — agree not to hold Toronto’s First Post Office / The Town of York Historical Society, its Agents, Employees, Directors, or Volunteers, liable for the loss of any deliveries to the assigned post office box except as stated in the Canada Post Act.

I understand that, if my post office box expires without a renewal, Toronto’s First Post Office / The Town of York Historical Society reserves the right to terminate the rental. I understand mail in the box at that time will be returned to sender as of the first of the month after the expiry date. It is also my responsibility to ensure my post office box number is included on mail I wish to receive.

I understand the following: that, if I cancel my box rental, no refund will be issued for unused time; that a special rate of $10 for membership in the Town of York Historical Society is available only to boxholders, and is included as part of the $210 price; that membership in the Society is mandatory for boxholders. A tax receipt for boxholder membership is not issued unless requested, or unless membership is accompanied by a donation to the Town of York Historical Society (TYHS). I will be added to the TYHS mailing list, and can unsubscribe at any time. The price of my post office box rental includes HST.

Toronto’s First Post Office reserves the right to refuse to release mail to individuals without identification. Due to space limitations, boxholders are asked to pick up larger items within 2 weeks of delivery, unless specific arrangements are made ahead of time."

Please note that Toronto's First Post Office does not issue tax receipts for boxholder membership unless requested.
