Whether it's a renewal or a new membership, after your purchase of a membership in the Town of York Historical Society, the recipient of your gift will receive a welcome message acknowledging your gift, and you will receive a receipt for income tax purposes.
Before sending this welcome, we'll be in touch with you via email to confirm names, address, occasion, and anything else we should know before welcoming our new member.
As a member, in addition to supporting the mission of the Town of York Historical Society, they'll receive the TYHS quarterly newsletter delivered to their mailbox, our monthly events e-newsletter (in advance of non-members), and always save on events and in the shop at Toronto’s First Post Office.
Memberships run from either May to May, or December to December of each year. If you purchase your membership in between these months, we'll date the membership from the next membership month. But they'll get all the benefits of membership in the meantime!
