Toronto 1837: A Model City, by Jennifer Parsons and Kevin Lilliman.

The scale model of Toronto as it was in 1837, locate in the Town of York Historical Society's museum at Toronto's First Post Office at 260 Adelaide St. East, has been a major point of interest for the many thousands of museum visitors since it was first unveiled on October 28, 1992. But the model lacked a key, something to identify the various buildings and describe them. This text fills that need. Kevin Lilliman and Jennifer Parsons have created a very readable and historically interesting description of our neighbourhood.
